PSL 2025 Replacement Draft Updates

The PSL replacement draft held on Monday brought further squad changes across franchises:

  • Peshawar Zalmi have signed George Linde, the South African allrounder, as a full replacement for Corbin Bosch, who has withdrawn to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
  • Islamabad United have drafted in Australia wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey to temporarily replace Rassie van der Dussen, who will miss part of the season due to personal reasons.

Additionally, teams have reserved replacements for several overseas players:

  • Peshawar Zalmi: Reserved replacement for Bangladesh fast bowler Nahid Rana.
  • Karachi Kings: Reserved replacements for Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.
  • Quetta Gladiators: Reserved replacement for New Zealand batter Mark Chapman.

PSL 2025 Schedule

The 10th season of the Pakistan Super League will kick off on April 11 in Rawalpindi, with the final scheduled for May 18 in Lahore. With Warner at the helm, Karachi Kings hope to reclaim their winning form and make a serious push for the title.
