“Many young players lack extensive exposure to different types of bowlers due to their limited time in first-class cricket,” Fleming noted. “When they encounter mystery spinners, it’s often their first time facing such skills on a big stage. Their natural instinct is to rely on power-hitting, but facing bowlers with unique styles demands a smarter approach.” This perspective underscores why bowlers with unconventional deliveries are proving to be game-changers in modern T20 cricket.
